We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Custom & Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes, from procurement to delivery. This position requires a keen understanding of customs regulations, logistics management, and supply chain optimization.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including procurement, operations, and finance, to facilitate seamless coordination of materials and services. You will be responsible for managing the logistics of goods, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and optimizing our supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.Manage customs documentation and compliance to ensure all shipments meet legal and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to negotiate contracts and optimize shipping routes.Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies for inventory management to prevent shortages or excess stock.Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and customs documentation.Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.Provide training and support to team members on customs regulations and logistics best practices.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.Preferred Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in logistics and supply chain coordination, preferably in the oil and gas sector.Strong understanding of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.Skills
