Hiring:
Workshop Manager – CNC / VMC / VTL Machining
Agra, Uttar Pradesh
We are an iron foundry with an integrated machining unit, supplying Grey Iron and S.G. Iron automotive components. We are looking for a technically strong and process-driven Workshop Manager who can transform our machining shop from a reactive setup into a structured, cycle-time-based, and high-efficiency manufacturing system.
This role is for someone who can build discipline, planning, and accountability on the shop floor – not just run machines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of CNC, VMC & VTL shop-floor operations
- Production planning based on cycle time and machine capacity
- Defining daily / weekly output targets for each machine
- Load balancing between machines to reduce idle time and bottlenecks
- Improving productivity, cycle times, and machine utilization
- Tooling, fixture selection and technical cost justification
- SOP implementation, first-off approvals, and changeover control
- Rejection analysis and machining defect elimination
- Operator training, discipline, 5S, safety & preventive maintenance
Must-Have
Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- Automotive machining experience (CI / SG Iron components)
- Experience in foundry + machining integrated setups
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing CNC, VMC & VTL machining operations
- Proven experience in:
Cycle-time-based production planning, Capacity scheduling and machine loading
- Strong knowledge of:
Tooling and fixture planning, Cycle time optimization, CNC productivity metrics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Practical experience in:
Machining defect analysis, First-off approvals and process validation, Strong shop-floor leadership and execution capability
- Strong Exposure to ISO / IATF quality systems
- Experience managing large teams or multiple shifts
