Job DescriptionOur Account Managers create and nurture ongoing relationship contacts with our number one customer – our dealers. Your objective is to increase the number of deals funded by partnering with nationwide dealers who will be a good fit. Your ability to identify, onboard, and manage growth with dealers around the US from our headquarters office locations. Being in a fast‑paced environment, this role requires a consultative sales and management approach.
Each Account Manager will manage their own dealer base to understand the Westlake Program so they can grow and succeed.
- Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you.
- Follow‑up on new CRM generated leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls to Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
- Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
- Constant and effective communication via phone, email and video meetings with dealer partners to train on current programs and fast funding requirements.
- Provide solutions, rehash and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
- Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (preferred).
- 1-2 year’s previous experience in a Sales role with a proven track record of success.
- High School Diploma required.
- College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
- Strong knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
- Clear and effective presentation skills.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Strong computer skills, telephone management, and adaptability to new technology.
- Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
- Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
- Self‑determined, performance‑based compensation package.
- Hourly position, $17.87/hr + performance‑based commissions and bonuses.
- 6 month compensation guarantee of $5,000.00 monthly.
- Average rep earnings after 1 year – $.
- Average earnings of the top 25% reps – $.
- Average earnings of the top 50 reps – $.
- No limit on commissions.
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
