Position OverviewYou may know us as a company with great food. You may also know us from ‘Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For’ list.
The Systems Analyst helps to power the business‑critical applications that keep our restaurants running, from POS and payments to integrations and reporting. You’ll research, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and enhance these systems while partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Training, and IT.
You’ll thrive in this position if you are:
- Curious – You don’t just fix issues — you dig in, ask why, and uncover root causes. You love understanding how systems connect and how improvements can make someone’s day easier.
- Collaborative – You’re comfortable bridging the gap between technical teams, business partners, and vendors. You know how to translate complexity into clarity.
- Accountable – You take ownership of your systems. You keep things running with minimal downtime, stay ahead of patches and upgrades, and follow through until the job is done right.
- Adaptable – You can shift between research, testing, documentation, vendor conversations, and project coordination without missing a beat.
- Work with other members of the IT department and third‑party vendors to keep systems working effectively with minimal downtime, including advising on current patches and releases, developing upgrade plans, and leading upgrades, deployments, and the implementation of new capabilities for supported systems, including testing, cutover support, and post‑release validation.
- Provide functional and technical support to Restaurant Operations, Finance, Training, and other key Support Center departments to optimize and streamline the technology and processes supporting these business units.
- Facilitate sessions with business partners to gather functional requirements using interviews, observations, document analysis, brainstorming sessions, team meetings, whiteboard sessions, and workflow analysis; coordinate gap development with third‑party vendors; and coordinate and participate in testing and deployment activities.
- Write functional and technical requirements for projects including the definition, scope, objectives, and defining the approach where applicable.
- Act as a liaison between business analysts, project management, and development teams and shepherd projects through the design, build, and test phases.
- Use functional and technical understanding of key solutions, interfaces, integrations, and reporting to address business‑requested enhancements and solve identified problems.
- Facilitate and/or conduct root cause analysis sessions, perform comparative analysis (pre/post changes and cross‑system comparisons), and recommend solution alternatives.
- Perform data extraction using SQL and APIs to support research, troubleshooting, and ad‑hoc analysis.
- Develop and maintain small automation scripts (primarily Power Shell) to support operational processes, troubleshooting, and incremental system improvements.
- Participate in vendor discussions to support SOW definition, scope alignment, deliverables, estimates, and timeline planning.
- Document and maintain all required system design and build documents including current and future state design.
- Work with clients to anticipate and minimize the impact of change on individuals and departments.
- Provide support to other IT team members.
- Invest time to grow skills and stay current with new technological developments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Systems
- Experience using SQL and APIs for data extraction and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Power Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks
- Hands‑on experience defining and documenting requirements
- Experience supporting system implementations and managing projects
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed
- Willingness to occasionally support after‑hours or weekend needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems,…
