Mechanical Assembler 1 – Pinnacle Group – Agawam, MA

Pay Range: $18–$20/hr. 100% onsite – 720 Silver St, Agawam, MA.

Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass‑produce products such as actuators, electronic case assemblies and their subassemblies.

Show proficiency in the products and processes after training.

• Assemble parts following bills of materials, drawings and written work instructions.
• Perform visual inspection and/or testing on assembled components.
• Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fasten parts together.
• Operate hydraulic presses, electric or pneumatic screwdrivers and other mechanical assembly aids.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Perform other functions including packing finished product and assembling product kits.
• Work on different models of actuators and/or electronic assemblies.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience reading and following mechanical drawings to assemble products.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools such as wrenches, hex keys and screwdrivers.

• Should be able to read and understand English.

• Basic math skills required.

• Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently stand, walk, and sit.
• Rarely move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Employee alternates sitting and standing as comfortable.

W2 position. Compensation will be based on scope, complexity and location, as well as skills, education, training, credentials and experience.
