Industrial Electrician - Off Shift

Minimum 3 years of Electrical Experience

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located in South East Michigan. Candidates must be able to work all shifts in a union environment

Requirements of the Industrial Electrician

• Troubleshoot of commercial/industrial electrical equipment installations
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine correct layout.
• Uphold all electrical equipment and related components in accordance with all applicable codes and standards including maintain accurate records.
• 4 years experience as an Electrician or Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Journeyman card highly preferred

Responsibilities of the Electrician

• Experience working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
• Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Experience in replacing broken or defective parts in equipment or machines, electrical equipment, and tooling.
• Ability to work at heights and hot/cold conditions.
• Able to work any shift.
• Able to work overtime.
