As the Quality Manager
, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of excellence, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring robust governance and assurance across our operations. Based on-site at our Adrian, MI Automotive OEM facility, you'll report to the Plant Manager and lead initiatives that elevate quality standards and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with IATF 16949, ISO
    9001 and PPG standards.
  • Ensure compliance with PPG and customer requirements applicable to manufacturing and inspection.
  • Lead internal and external audits, support customer and regulatory audits, and ensure closure of corrective actions.
  • Oversee nonconformance investigations and RCCA implementation.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to support daily production and ensure quality compliance.
  • Provide technical quality support for manufacturing processes, new product introductions, and engineering changes.
  • Promote local continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce defects and scrap.
  • Maintain quality documentation, records, and traceability for all site processes.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and lead data-driven problem solving and performance improvement.
  • Support and develop site quality technicians, ensuring training and engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment;
    Chemical or Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent digital literacy and documentation experience.
  • Strong collaboration skills to engage with all levels of site personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate technical and complex issues to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding across all organizational levels.
  • Continuous improvement and solution-oriented mindset.
