THIS ROLE IS BASED ACROSS SURREY, BERKSHIRE AND LONDON
About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Dental Operations Manager to join our growing group at Sync Dental. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the operational success of our practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing and leading a high-performing team of Treatment Coordinators, driving excellence in patient experience and practice performance
- Leading and supporting 8 practice teams from the ground up, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development
- Working closely with practice managers and clinical leads to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations across all sites
- Taking full ownership of cost control, budget management, and P&L across all practices, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are utilised effectively
- Analysing financial performance data and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and reduce unnecessary expenditure
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators across all practices
- Implementing and maintaining operational policies, procedures, and best practices
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Proven experience in a dental operations or management role within a dental group or similar healthcare setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, cost control, and P&L responsibility across multiple sites
- Financially astute with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable operational improvements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Commercially minded with a good understanding of practice performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple sites effectively
- A collaborative, hands‑on approach with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential, as the role requires regular travel between our practices across Surrey, Berkshire, and London)
- Proven experience managing multi‑site dental operations is highly desirable
- Available to work full‑time, Mon to Fri including some weekends.
