Opportunity to work within a life sciences programme, delivering critical national infrastructure for a central government client. We are looking for a Project Manager to support in the delivery of secured projects within the programme of works.

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering major infrastructure projects, ideally with experience in electrical infrastructure such as substations, power distribution systems, and related civil works. The role involves full project lifecycle ownership, from design and planning through delivery, commissioning, and handover, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical understanding of electrical systems, competency in overseeing civil interfaces (e.g., drainage, foundations, ducting), and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across complex infrastructure environments.

Note:

This role will be based on our client’s site in Weybridge, Surrey minimum 3 days per week, and Moorgate London offices. This role will require the successful candidate to pass both BPSS and SC clearance.

• Managing end‑to‑end delivery of electrical infrastructure projects.
• Managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk.
• Coordinating design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Overseeing contractors to meet technical and contractual requirements.
• Driving progress and resolve issues.
• Engaging stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Ensuring governance, safety, and compliance.
• Managing budgets, procurement, and commercial activities.

• Degree in civil/electrical engineering with experience in major infrastructure.
• Proven delivery of multidisciplinary projects in regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder, governance, and project management capability.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and civil - electrical interfaces.
