About the Role

We are looking for a blended learning, dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team in Addlestone, Surrey
. This role is perfect for a recent graduate who is passionate about education and keen to gain hands‑on experience working with children and young people with special educational needs. You will play a vital role in helping students with a range of learning needs access the curriculum, supporting both their academic progress and wellbeing. This is an excellent stepping stone for those considering teaching, educational psychology, SEN support, or other child‑focused careers.

⭐Key Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students with additional needs
  • Assist teachers with planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Support students’ engagement, confidence, and emotional development
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
  • Support the monitoring of EHCP targets and student progress
  • Encourage independence and resilience in learners

⭐The Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate (all subjects welcome; Psychology, Education, English, Maths, and Science desirable)
  • Passionate about working with young people and supporting diverse learning needs
  • Empathetic, patient, and adaptable
  • Confident communicator and effective team player
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and able to follow guidance
  • Experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, schools, clubs) is beneficial but not essential
