Position

Safeguarding Manager

Location:

Addlestone, Surrey (flexible to other Trust schools; key meetings at Jubilee High School)

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct remote monitoring of schools and support safeguarding reviews in individual schools.
  • Support DSLs with complex safeguarding cases.
  • Manage safeguarding‑related administrative tasks.
  • Support onboarding of new schools, ensuring practices align with Trust policies.
  • Lead and manage the supervision team, facilitating group and individual supervision sessions for DSLs.
Requirements
  • Strong awareness, understanding and commitment to protection and safeguarding of pupils.
  • Significant experience in school safeguarding roles, including as DSL or Deputy DSL.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory guidance:
    Working Together to Safeguard Children, Keeping Children Safe in Education, Prevent Duty Guidance.
  • Trained in and experience of leading supervision sessions.
  • Experience with CPOMS or other safeguarding and HR data management systems and reporting tools.
