We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong foundation in Java 11 to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have 2- 5 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a solid understanding of Java programming and its ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet our business needs.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement software applications using Java 11.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.
- Strong proficiency in Java 11, including core concepts and advanced features.
- Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL or Postgre
SQL.
- Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
