Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales.
- Experience working with the Texas public sector market including government, state, municipalities, or education entities.
- Experience selling Cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software across the public sector, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
- Experience growing an existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
- Experience working with, and leading, cross‑functional teams and partners in implementations.
- Experience with commercial and legal agreements, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
- Experience working with customer engineers and customers technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
- Experience cultivating C‑level relationships and influencing executives.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $114,000‑$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts within Texas and New Mexico.
- Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire sales cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation.
- Conduct in‑depth consultations to understand customer issues, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, structuring agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Leverage understanding of Public Sector issues and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a partner for their digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Technical Specialists and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless service delivery and maximize growth within the assigned territory.
