Senior Account Executive Requirements & Qualifications

(These are the key qualifications Hunter will prioritize when screening candidates.)

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, membership-based, or professional services environments
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, in-person and virtual
  • Experience selling to small or mid-sized business owners, preferably in home services
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and comfort with digital sales tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% for events and presentations
Must Haves
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations during Profit Day events and virtual sessions
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand contractor needs and position effective solutions
  • Manage and track your sales pipeline in Salesforce from first contact to close
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and great member experience
  • Represent the brand at industry events and trade shows to drive visibility and growth
  • Support and mentor junior sales team members
Senior Account Executive Preferred Background & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the home services industry
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (Sandler, SPIN, Challenger, etc.)
  • Experience selling to multi-location or franchise organizations
  • Demonstrated success in goal-driven, fast-paced environments
