Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all unit functions during the shift. In collaboration with management, the CNC directs, monitors, evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models the organization’s vision and values to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
What You Will Do In This Role- Assist with admission and discharge to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
- Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Implement nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
- Recommend, train and develop new staff; implement performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor according to patient needs and productivity guidelines.
- Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- 1+ year ICU or Critical Care experience.
