Job Overview
The Vice President of Parts is responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the aftermarket and OEM parts across all of ATW's brands. This role has full P&L ownership of the Parts business, including revenue growth, gross margin, pricing strategy, inventory investment, and operational execution.
The ATW Parts organization is focused on manufacturing and distributing OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories. Key customers are big box retail, national and regional chain partners, wholesale dealers, and direct-to-end-user channels, including eCommerce. The VP of Parts will define and execute the long-term growth strategy, elevate customer experience, and ensure scalable, efficient fulfillment operations.
This role serves as a senior leader partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Warranty, and Finance to drive profitable growth and brand strength.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Growth & P&L Leadership
- Own the end-to-end P&L for the OEM and aftermarket Parts business, including revenue, gross margin, operating expense, and working capital.
- Develop and execute the long-term OEM and aftermarket parts strategy, encompassing channel expansion, pricing, product supportability, digital growth, and fulfillment capabilities.
- Define and manage annual operating plans, budgets, and multi-year growth roadmaps.
- Establish pricing, discounting, and margin strategies aligned with market dynamics and profitability targets.
- Identify and execute opportunities for margin expansion, mix improvement, and operational leverage.
- Provide executive leadership to the Parts Sales and Execution organization, ensuring alignment to growth priorities and customer strategies.
- Expand and optimize multi-channel sales, including big box retail, wholesale dealers, direct sales, and online platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement in the customer ordering and fulfillment experience, with a focus on ease of doing business, reliability, and responsiveness.
- Strengthen strategic customer relationships and represent the OEM and aftermarket Parts business with key partners and accounts.
- Champion customer retention, brand representation, and aftermarket attachment across the product lifecycle.
- Provide executive oversight of warehouse and fulfillment operations, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery and cost-effective execution.
- Set strategy and governance for inventory management, including accuracy, turns, availability, and working capital optimization.
- Establish scalable standard work, KPIs, and operating rhythms across sales and operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and operational excellence principles.
- Ensure safety standards and compliance across all warehouse and fulfillment operations.
- Partner with Product Engineering to ensure new products are designed with full aftermarket parts support.
- Collaborate with Warranty and Operations to align service expectations, lead times, and parts availability.
- Work with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure supplier performance, cost management, and appropriate stocking strategies.
- Serve as a key contributor to the enterprise-level strategy discussions.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team across sales and operations.
- Set clear expectations, accountability, and performance management processes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
- Act as an ambassador of ATW values and leadership standards.
