A cutting edge cybersecurity software company based in Addison, TX is currently looking to hire a Lead Azure Dev Ops Engineer to add to their growing team. This organization specializes in identity and access management security, helping enterprises protect, store, and recover encryption keys with confidence. Their environment is deeply rooted in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and a range of modern automation and monitoring tools.
You’ll join a small, fast growing Dev Ops organization that is expanding its microservice architecture and scaling its cloud footprint. This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role where you will architect cloud solutions, implement infrastructure automation best practices, and mentor a team of engineers. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can balance deep technical contributions with people leadership.
You’ll help run scrum ceremonies, conduct one‑on‑ones, and drive team performance improvements. It’s an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact at a rapidly expanding, security‑driven company. The role is hybrid with onsite work required at the Addison office 2–3 days a week.
- 8+ years of professional experience spanning Software Engineering, Dev Ops Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a Senior or Lead level position
- Software Engineer background
- Expert level knowledge of Azure cloud, including services like AKS, App Services and virtual networking
- Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker, with proven experience deploying and maintaining microservices in production
- Experience building and managing Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines
- Strong command of infrastructure‑as‑code with technologies like Terraform, Terragrunt, or ARM/Bicep
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Advanced scripting ability in Python or Go for automating build, deployment and monitoring workflows
- Hands on experience with Helm, Istio, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, or CosmosDB
