SAP ASE Replication SME Job Addison area,Texas USA,IT/Tech

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience with SAP ASE Database Administration.
7+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP ASE Replication Server (setup, configuration, troubleshooting).
Strong expertise in replication architecture (Warm Standby, Multi‑Site Availability, Heterogeneous Replication).
Experience with replication latency monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and ASE system tables.
Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems in relation to ASE deployment.
Familiarity with migration projects from Cloud to Cloud.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in high‑pressure environments.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in SAP ASE upgrades and migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP NS2).
Knowledge of integration with SAP Business Suite running on ASE.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SAP DBA Cockpit, Prometheus, custom monitoring scripts).
Prior work with DoD/FedRAMP/NS2 environments.
SAP or Sybase certification in ASE/Replication Server.
Develop and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies using ASE Replication and associated tools.
