- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 8 years of experience in working with ISP for peering and caching solutions.
- 5 years of experience in leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Experience motivating teams and individuals to adapt as the business environment evolves.
- Ability to successfully implement process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and scale across multiple teams.
- Ability to lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable initiatives and execute on them.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company.

CompensationThe US base salary range for this full‑time position is $183,000–$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities- Plan and lead on‑net and off‑net delivery projects including Internet Service Provider (ISP) engagement, material planning, equipment installation, and turn up of equipment to be ready to serve traffic.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive goal for the Edge Capacity and Peering delivery team, aligning with overall Edge Capacity, Google Global Infrastructure (GGI) and company goals and objectives.
- Identify and implement solutions to optimize the project delivery to be marketed for lead‑time, predictability, quality and cost. Advocate a culture of proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
- Identify, mentor, and develop high‑potential program managers and engineers, preparing them for future roles within the organization or with peer organizations in Google.
- Establish clear performance metrics and provide regular feedback to drive individual and team performance.
