** Position Overview
** Staxmatic is seeking a
** Construction Recruiter
** to support hiring efforts for field and office roles, with a primary focus on
** plumbing, mechanical, skilled trades, and field-support positions**.This role works closely with HR, operations, and hiring managers to help meet current and upcoming staffing needs. The Construction Recruiter will focus on sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates, helping ensure projects are properly staffed while gaining hands-on experience in construction recruiting.
** Compensation & Benefits
*** Base Salary:
Up to $85,000 with recruiting incentive

** Key Responsibilities
*** Support recruiting efforts for field and administrative positions, including skilled trades, foremen, and project support roles
* Partner with hiring managers and project teams to understand immediate staffing needs
* Source candidates using multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, Linked In, trade networks, and outreach
* Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
* Maintain active candidate pipelines for ongoing and upcoming projects
* Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
* Build relationships with trade professionals, subcontractors, and workforce partners
* Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and trade school outreach as needed
* Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
* Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives as assigned
* Assist with special projects and additional duties as needed## Qualifications
** Required Qualifications
*** 1–3 years of recruiting experience (construction or skilled trades preferred)
* Familiarity with field roles such as plumbing, mechanical, or other skilled trades is a plus
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
* Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools
