Anesthesia Coding Manager

Overview

Provide daily leadership to a team of 15–20 coding and billing professionals. Serve as the primary resource for anesthesia coding and billing questions. Conduct 1:1 meetings, mentor team members, and support professional development.

• Lead and support a team of 15–20 coding and billing professionals on a daily basis.
• Serve as the primary resource for anesthesia coding and billing questions.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with team members and support their professional development.
• Oversee anesthesia billing across multiple payer types and ensure accurate CPT, ASA, and ICD-10 coding.
• Review claim exception reports, clearinghouse details, and daily queues; provide guidance on concurrency rules and anesthesia-specific billing requirements.

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) desired.
• 3–5 years of anesthesiology coding and billing experience preferred, or surgery.
• Proficient in coding and billing claims software.
• Thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Intermediate Level

This is a permanent position based out of Addison, TX.

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. If eligible, benefits may include the following:
