QRM (Quality Rehab Management) is adding a full time Billing Specialist to our team in our Dallas, TX office. The Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of billing for ancillary services provided in long-term care and senior living communities, specifically Part B billing. Ideal candidates will also have experience with billing to Physician and Nurse Practitioner services.

This role ensures compliance with payer requirements, supports revenue cycle management, and contributes to client satisfaction and retention by delivering precise and efficient billing practices. This is a leadership role for a new department- ideal candidates will have Regional level billing experience.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and submit claims for ancillary services in accordance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Review and reconcile billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to submission
  • Monitor claim status, follow up on outstanding claims, and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, community staff, and payers to resolve claim denials or rejections
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations and requirements
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate
  • Provide support for audits, account reviews, and client inquiries related to billing activity
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates on billing status and resolve concerns promptly
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions, demonstrating competency in billing processes and adherence to established guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
