Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

The Accounting Director will play a critical role in managing and improving the financial operations of the company. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, compliance, and the development of internal controls. The role works closely with FP&A, Operations, and private equity partners.

• Financial reporting & compliance: oversee preparation of accurate & timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP; ensure compliance with private equity reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, annual); manage audits, audit schedules; manage year‑end tax process.
• Accounting operations: supervise day‑to‑day functions (AP, AR, payroll, GL); develop & implement policies and procedures; lead month‑end, quarter‑end & year‑end closing processes.
• Internal controls & process improvement: establish, monitor, enforce internal controls; identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices.
• M&A: support due diligence & integration; implement Net Suite & train on accrual accounting; perform monthly reviews.
• Team leadership: manage & mentor the accounting team; recruit, develop, retain talent; foster accountability and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA designation required.
• 6‑8 years of progressive accounting experience; private equity‑backed environment experience preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience (multi‑location, provider‑based) with cash‑to‑accrual revenue recognition.
• Proficiency in ERP platforms such as Net Suite; implementation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, organizational skills; thrive in fast‑paced high‑growth environment.
• Leadership & team management; excellent communication & presentation; strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
