Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will support Stride Care’s financial planning, performance reporting, and strategic decision-making across a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare platform. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will analyze key business drivers and financial performance to help identify opportunities for improved operational and financial outcomes, using Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and Excel.
This position requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets to produce clear, accurate, and actionable insights. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to help scale a high-impact FP&A function within a growing healthcare organization.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities- Support the monthly business performance cycle by assembling presentation outputs using Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and Excel-based financial models
- Perform detailed variance analysis across revenue, cost, and margin drivers to explain period-over-period and forecast-to-actual performance
- Development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models used for forecasting, reporting cycles, and strategic decision making
- Ongoing monitoring, validation, and analysis of critical metrics and business trends, with regular updates provided to senior management
- Analyze key business drivers and translate findings into clear insights, actions, and business implications
- Adaptive planning administrator
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles in collaboration with the Director of Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Perform other ad hoc analyses and duties assigned
- Demonstrated financial judgment and modeling discipline, with the ability to challenge assumptions, identify unexplained variances, and improve analytical methodologies
- Ability to successfully manage ambiguity and competing deadlines
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and their impact on financial statements, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft office products, including advanced Excel experience
- Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in finance
- Between 2 to 4 years of experience in a finance/analytics role
- Experience working with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus
- Experience in management consulting or investment banking is a plus
- Experience in a multi-site business and/or the healthcare industry is a plus
