Architectural Captain

We are seeking an Architectural Job Captain with 5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit working on commercial, Retail, Multi Family project types.

• Work collaboratively on both large projects and smaller projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents maintaining a high level of quality of work product.
• Produce detailed documents meeting specific standards, building codes, and guidelines.
• Communicate with firm's project architects, managers, designers, principals, and outside consultants.

• Ability to both work independently and carry out assignments within given parameters, and know when to ask for guidance.
• Willingness to take initiative to develop options and solve problems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Desire to learn and grow, and grow into positions with more responsibility and opportunity.

• Some technical knowledge of building systems and products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent drawing skills and proficiency with design software - Revit (required) and Autocad; and familiarity with Sketch Up, 3d Studio VIZ or similar packages (desired).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with commercial multifamily and/or retail projects required.
• BS degree in Architecture (licensed or in process of acquiring license).
