OverviewOur company offers a full spectrum of electrical services—from commercial and industrial to solar solutions—backed by decades of industry experience. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day operations of electrical construction projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily activities on electrical construction projects, ensuring completion to specifications, within timelines, and in compliance with local codes.
- Lead and manage electrical crews, assigning tasks, providing guidance, ensuring safety protocols and productivity.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with project managers, minimizing conflicts and delays.
- Monitor quality of work, perform inspections, and address deficiencies promptly.
- Ensure all work meets OSHA and company safety policies, conduct safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage materials and equipment, coordinate procurement, and prevent work stoppages due to shortages.
- Track project costs, address cost overruns, and identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety.
- Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, communicating status, issues, and resolving concerns on site.
- Identify and resolve onsite issues or obstacles, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders on solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, material usage, manpower hours, and submit regular progress reports.
- Ensure work completion for final inspection, assist with as‑built drawings, warranty documentation, and close‑out paperwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate’s degree or certification in construction management or electrical technology preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a superintendent, foreman, or comparable role in electrical contracting, managing large‑scale commercial or industrial projects.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30‑hour, First Aid/CPR, and Electrical Journeyman/Master Electrician credentials (preferred).
- Knowledge of construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate teams and interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills for onsite issues.
