Job Title: Warehouse Facilities Electrician

Location: Addison, IL (Onsite)

Compensation: $32.00 - $35.00 / Hourly

Our client located in Itasca is looking for an Electrician to join their corporate office.

This would be for a Maintenance Electrician/Facilities Electrician/Warehouse Electrician.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, fixtures, transformers, and PLC controls for conveyors and PTL systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple trades, including plumbing, HVAC, welding, and carpentry.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance and workflow.

• 5+ years of electrician experience (maintenance/facilities/warehouse)
• Hands‑on experience in distribution centers / warehouse environments (Amazon DC, logistics/DS companies ideal)
• Strong High Voltage + Low Voltage electrical knowledge (high voltage is the key gap)
• Electrician certificate from accredited trade school/program (required)
• Proficiency with electrical trade tools and diagnostics
• Strong adherence to safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, compliance)
• Familiarity with basic circuitry / PC circuitry (electronics fundamentals)

• Required:
  
  5+ years as a journeyman electrician with experience in conveyor systems and machinery.
• Preferred: PLC programming experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Certification:
  Electrician certificate from an accredited vocational school.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Proficiency in electrical trade tools, PC circuitry, and safety protocols.

• Bilingual Spanish/English (big plus)
• Team leadership qualities: confident communicator, collaborative, positive energy
• Prior experience supporting warehouse production equipment (conveyors, motors, panels, dock equipment)
