Hire Nelson Company is seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork professional who can confidently read architectural drawings, perform detailed take-offs, and identify all materials required for commercial millwork projects. This is a hands‑on, experienced role. We are looking for someone who understands how millwork is built — because they’ve built it.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Perform accurate take-offs for commercial millwork projects
- Identify materials, hardware, and components required for ordering
- Review plans for discrepancies and missing information
- Work within Innergy ERP for access to Bill of material, shop drawings, material finishes & material inventory
- Collaborate with PMs, purchasing, and production
- 5+ years experience in architectural millwork
- Cabinet building experience required
- Strong understanding of commercial casework construction
- Ability to read blueprints and millwork drawings independently
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable working in ERP systems (Innergy experience a plus)
