Overview
The Eye Care Center LTD by Albina Optometric is seeking an experienced Lead Optician to oversee optical services and deliver exceptional patient care in our Addison location.
Responsibilities- Lead optical sales with a focus on patient satisfaction and practice growth
- Guide patients in selecting frames, lenses, and premium eyewear solutions
- Interpret prescriptions, troubleshoot vision concerns, and ensure accurate fittings
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and optical presentation standards
- Collaborate with doctors and staff to support clinical flow and patient retention
- Train and mentor optical team members
- 3+ years of experience in an optical or optometry setting
- Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, and coatings
- Proven ability to close sales and recommend premium solutions
- Leadership mindset with accountability and ownership
- Preferred:
Experience with myopia management, RF treatments, or patient pre-testing
- Growing, team-oriented practice
