Sales Associate

Location: Ada, OK

Reports To: Store Manager

Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service, driving product sales, and promoting each sale or promotion. The Sales Associate is knowledgeable in each product area or department and upholds policies and procedures as listed in the visual manual. They serve as an ambassador of the organization and brand, creating a unique customer experience that helps acquire and retain long‑time customers.

Responsibilities
  • Produce and provide extraordinary customer service as highlighted in the customer service manual, including greeting customers as they enter the store and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
  • Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the organization.
  • Consistently set and track goals to improve selling skills and overall sales performance.
  • Practice and uphold all company policies, procedures, and standards listed in the operations policy manual, personnel policy manual, visual manual, customer service manual, and memos with the company’s direction.
  • Assist in daily store operations, including completing work lists, clean‑up lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
  • Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, following guidance found in the product knowledge manual.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
  • Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management staff.
  • Attend all staff meetings and technology clinics for the store.
  • Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accurate internal controls and reporting potential fraud risk to management or appropriate officials.
Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
  • Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
