Ada Med Surg - Registered Nurse-GIG

As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver top-notch patient care while maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients.

Education: You should have graduated from a school of nursing with an Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN.

Licensure: It’s essential to obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure where you perform nursing duties, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.

Certifications: You’ll need to have life support certification upon hire, and in alignment with Mercy policy, no later than 90 days after hire. Specific certifications include:

• For Med Surg (MS) and Women's and Children's (WC) - BLS
• For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS
• For ED - BLS, ACLS, PALS

Physical Requirements: This role involves:

• Pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
