Rate: $80/hr

Lead the Future of Revenue Cycle OptimizationWe’re seeking a senior-level Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Analyst III with strong Prelude experience to join a high-performing healthcare IT team supporting a dynamic and growing organization. This role is primarily remote but prioritizes candidates located in or near Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK for occasional onsite collaboration and strategic meetings.
This is a 6-month contract with the clear goal of long-term conversion. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow roots, contribute at a high level, and help shape the future of the Epic revenue cycle environment.

Role OverviewAs an Analyst III, you’ll operate as a senior Epic specialist responsible for high-complexity build, cross-team coordination, and strategic application leadership. You will help guide Epic Hospital Billing optimization efforts while partnering closely with operational and IT leadership.
This position requires deep hands‑on expertise in Epic Hospital Billing

, and comfort managing both project initiatives and ticket-based support through Service Now
.
- Lead high-complexity Epic HB build, configuration, validation, and optimization efforts
- Architect cross-functional workflows and integrated system solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and upcoming Epic versions and roadmap
- Review and validate build completed by other analysts to ensure quality and adherence to standards
- Oversee knowledge documentation, KPSWs, and support resources
- Serve as project lead or application coordinator for implementations, upgrades, and multi-phase initiatives
- Create and manage project plans and assignments within Service Now
- Collaborate with leadership on timelines, resource allocation, and expectations
- Provide reporting on ticket metrics, project progress, and optimization initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional governance and leadership meetings
- Balance project responsibilities with day-to-day ticket support
- Lead ticket huddles, prioritize workload, and identify escalation needs
- Drive workflow improvements based on operational data and user feedback
- Serve as a liaison between IT, revenue cycle leadership, HIM teams, and Epic
- Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts on build standards and troubleshooting
- Support onboarding of new team members
- Promote best practices, documentation consistency, and collaborative problem-solving
- Active Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Certification
- Minimum 3+ years of recent, hands‑on Epic application experience
- Experience supporting multiple projects and system upgrades
- Current on recent Epic versions
- Strong experience in a ticket-based support environment
- Comfortable working in a hybrid/mostly remote environment
- Must reside in an approved remote state
- Secondary experience in HB Claims or additional Epic applications
- Experience working with HIM teams on integration and testing
- Service Now experience
- Experience operating at an Analyst III level (complex build validation, cross-team coordination, mentoring)
