Summary:
Responsibilities:
* Teaches Rosetta Stone Chickasaw Curriculum to secondary students in Oklahoma public schools, in person or virtually
* Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
* Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom. Treat students with respect and dignity
* Communicates with parents through conferences and other means to discuss student's progress and interpret the school program. Interacts with students, staff, and parents in a positive and professional manner
* Maintains academic honesty & integrity
* Establishes rapport with students and provides a pleasant, safe, and orderly climate conducive to learning
* Establish and maintain standard of students' behavior needed to provide an orderly productive classroom environment
* Maintains equipment and orderly workspace/service zone
* Increase language proficiency through continuing education provided by the Division of Language Preservation
* Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records required by state law, district policy, and administrative regulations to be submitted to the Curriculum/Instruction Manager
* Demonstrates ingenuity in problem-solving, particularly in public education settings
* Actively works toward proficiency in speaking the Chickasaw language
* Follows the Line of Support
* Follows Tribal Policy and Procedures
* Maintains strict confidentiality
* Cooperates with all team members and leadership.
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Performs all other duties as assigned

Essential:
* Ability to develop and implement inquiry-based and hands-on learning strategies within public education
* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral
* Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements
* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability
* Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines
* Second Language Learning training or facilitator
* Knowledge of youth programs in public education settings
* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
