Associate Veterinarian – Join Our Compassionate, High-Performing Team! Bells Ferry Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our thriving practice in Acworth, GA. For over 40 years, we’ve proudly served the Kennesaw, Woodstock, and Canton communities, offering exceptional veterinary care rooted in compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to animal wellness.

As a valued member of our hospital, you'll work alongside a skilled medical team— including four registered veterinary technicians
—who help ensure you have strong clinical support every step of the way. In addition to providing care for companion animals, we are also an injured wildlife triage facility
, giving you the unique opportunity to contribute to wildlife rehabilitation and community conservation efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive wellness exams and diagnose a variety of medical conditions
  • Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care
  • Prescribe treatments and develop personalized care plans for each patient
  • Educate pet owners on preventive care and ongoing treatment options
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient medical records
  • Support our wildlife triage efforts with compassionate, ethical care
Qualifications
  • A DVM degree from an accredited institution
  • Georgia veterinary licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset
  • A passion for animal health—including both companion animals and local wildlife
  • Commitment to continued learning and professional growth
