Position Overview

The Senior Global Payroll Partner serves as a key subject matter expert responsible for leading global payroll operations, systems optimization, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and global tax authorities to ensure a compliant, efficient, and scalable payroll function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and enhance existing payroll procedures, recommending improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy across global operations
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and external providers to implement and maintain payroll policies, processes, and controls
  • Provide high-touch support to employees, managers, and third parties, ensuring timely resolution of payroll inquiries
  • Lead training initiatives and develop documentation to support a high-performing payroll team
Systems & Process Leadership
  • Oversee the global time and payroll platform, including configuration, reporting, audits, and troubleshooting
  • Lead end-to-end payroll implementations and system enhancements to streamline operations
  • Act as a liaison between functional stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective delivery and optimization of Workday solutions
  • Identify risks, elevate issues proactively, and drive resolution
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global or multi-site environments
  • Hands-on experience with Workday payroll and time systems
  • Demonstrated expertise translating business requirements into scalable operational solutions
  • Experience implementing end-to-end payroll processes and compliance frameworks
Preferred
  • CPP certification
  • Experience managing complex payroll scenarios (multi-region, disability, garnishments, benefits)
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting and internal controls
  • Background in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment
  • Proven experience with payroll system implementations and audits
