Location: Altham (commutable from Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, Nelson)

Pay: £13.15 - £19.15 per hour (PAYE)

We're looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 (Cat

C) Drivers to join a well-established local steel distribution company based in Altham. You'll be delivering palletised steel products across the local area - typically 5-10 drops per day
. The work is straightforward and steady
, with no handball required - you'll just need to ensure loads are safely strapped and secured.

This is an ongoing, consistent role with immediate starts available for the right drivers. Both full-time and part-time hours are on offer, making it ideal for drivers looking for regular local work without long days away from home.

• Delivering palletised steel safely and efficiently to local customers.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and following all site safety procedures.
• Strapping and securing loads (experience with steel preferred).
• Working to a steady delivery schedule – no rush, no nonsense.
• Communicating professionally with customers and the transport team.

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
  , CPC and Digi Tacho Card. Experience strapping and securing heavy or long loads (steel preferred). Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach. Good local knowledge of East Lancashire and surrounding areas.

• Competitive pay: £13.15 basic – £19.15 overtime per hour (PAYE).
• Ongoing local work – no nights out, no long-distance runs.
• Choice of full-time (5 days per week) or part-time (1–3 days per week).
