Location: Blackburn (commutable from Accrington, Burnley, Preston, Darwen)
Pay: £14.00 per hour + Overtime at £21.00/hour after 8 hours per shift
Hours: Monday to Friday - Day shifts
Job Type: Temporary (ongoing opportunities available)

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Class 1 (Cat C+E) Driver to join our client's steel distribution team based in Blackburn
.

You'll be responsible for delivering steel lengths and palletised stainless steel to customers across the North West. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and safe load securing are key.

The work is straightforward and steady - no nights out, just day work Monday to Friday with the chance to pick up overtime paid at a premium rate.

• Safely transport steel lengths and palletised stainless steel to various local and regional destinations.
• Ensure all loads are securely strapped and comply with health & safety regulations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
• Represent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Proven experience delivering steel or similar heavy goods
  .
• Excellent load strapping and securing skills - essential.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• A professional attitude with a focus on safety and reliability.

• £14.00 per hour +
  Overtime paid at £21.00/hour after 8 hours.
• Monday-Friday work
