Overview
Social Worker - Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). Permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week) based in Accrington, Lancashire. International sponsorship is not available for this role. Salary £36,363 - £40,778 per annum.
Responsibilities- Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for children, young people and families across the county.
- Undertake social work assessments and ensure the right support is provided at the right time to keep young people free from harm.
- Build strong relationships with partner agencies and engage with families to interpret information and determine thresholds and necessary actions.
- Travel within the county may be required depending on service need (based in Lancashire House, Accrington).
- Recognised Social Work Qualification & registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in Children's Social Care Services, particularly in a safeguarding capacity.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation/principles and ability to apply them in practice.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies and families.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise caseload and apply risk analysis based on available information.
