We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a female client with physical and mental health disabilities.

As a Care Support Assistant
, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £12.75 per hour.

This position is for 16 hours per week and includes days/afternoon shift on a 2:1 basis.

You’ll spend your whole shift with one person, no travelling between sites, just focused, meaningful support.

Support required with the following:

• Personal hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Support to shop for food, drink and essential items
• Support to attend appointments
• Support to access activities within the community within areas of interest
• Support to maintain her environment

What you’ll do

• Assist with daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with household tasks and meal preparation
• Support to attend appointments and community activities
• Administer medication when required

• A caring and empathetic nature
• A genuine desire to support others
• Basic IT and record-keeping skills
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
