We are working in partnership with a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across the Bury area who are seeking Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.

These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people, particularly those with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
, and who want flexible or long-term work within secondary education.

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you may be:

• Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups across KS3 and KS4
• Assisting pupils with SEND, SEMH, behaviour needs, or EHCPs
• Supporting learning within the classroom alongside teaching staff
• Helping students remain engaged, regulated, and motivated
• Providing pastoral and emotional support where required
• Adapting support strategies to meet individual needs

Roles vary depending on the school and may include general classroom support or specialist SEND/SEMH placements

• Experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, care, SEN, or similar)
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting students to succeed
• A willingness to work across different secondary school settings

• Experience supporting SEND or SEMH
• Team Teach or behaviour support training
• Relevant qualifications (TA, CACHE, Youth Work, Psychology, Education, etc.)

• £95 £ 115 per day
