Job Summary: The Customs Clearance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials entering or leaving the organization. This position is responsible for tracking, organizing, and coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments while working closely with shipping agents, customs authorities, and internal departments to ensure timely and compliant clearance.

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage all logistics operation including all logistics assets in order to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Co-ordinate and provide logistics support to on-going air, land and sea operations in the area
- Support other logistics staff in department as needed
- Plan and organize work to be resourceful and use initiative
- Liaise with shipment companies and customs to obtain required documentation for shipment release
- Review the existing logistics method, and suggest any improvements that are required
- Prepare shipment clearance letters, in coordination with the related sectors (shipping agencies) and relevant departments
- Plane organize & coordinate with the relevant departments for the dangerous shipments (MOD, MOI, police departments, GHQ)

- report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration or relevant field.
- Certified Professional Logistics qualification or training.
- Minimum two to three years of experience in Logistics.
- Understanding the confidentiality matters pertaining to Procurement & Supplier Qualifications.
- Must have good negotiating skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relation with forwarding agents and transporters.
- Must have ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment and to deal patiently and tactfully with staff members and others.
- Must have high degree of accuracy and competency required together with the ability to work systematically and to communicate complex matters both orally and in writing.
