Job Overview

An HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures efficiently and effectively.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations and codes.
• Collaborate with contractors and other technicians for complex installations.
• Measure and determine air quality, flow, and temperature balance in systems.
• Handle client inquiries and provide detailed explanations of HVAC issues.
• Maintain records of service and repair work, including completed and pending tasks.
• Recommend system upgrades and improvements for better efficiency and cost savings.
• Use specialized tools and equipment with high accuracy and precision.
• Maintain an inventory of parts and tools needed for service and repair work.
• Adhere to all safety and health protocols while working on job sites.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Certification in HVAC systems and relevant state licensing required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in HVAC system operations and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
