Job Description

  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power outlets, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
  • Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues, including faults in wiring, circuits, lighting, and power systems, and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
  • Installation and Setup: Install new electrical systems and equipment as required, ensuring proper configuration and safety compliance. This includes lighting systems, electrical outlets, and other fixtures.
  • System Upgrades: Assist in upgrading electrical systems and installing new technology to improve energy efficiency and operational functionality.
  • Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure that all electrical installations and repairs comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages, minimizing downtime and ensuring the safety of the property and staff.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including installations, repairs, inspections, and system upgrades.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure that electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-quality service to staff by addressing electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sustainability: Promote sustainable practices in electrical work, including the use of energy-efficient lighting and systems to minimize energy consumption.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in electrical systems or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial or hospitality environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, power distribution, lighting systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose electrical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and climbing ladders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure all electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Safety Awareness: Deep knowledge of electrical safety protocols and local electrical codes. Ability to work safely with electrical systems and equipment.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage electrical work to minimize disruption to property operations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members and departments effectively.
