Job Description
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients by actively engaging in sales activities outside the office. This role involves traveling to various locations, conducting in‑person meetings, and representing the company’s products or services to potential and current customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through calling, networking, and referrals. Develop a pipeline of potential clients and follow up on leads to generate sales. - Sales Presentations:
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and interests of each client. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients. Provide exceptional customer service, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. - Sales Targets:
Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas as set by the company. Track and report on sales performance and metrics. - Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Use market research to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies. - Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with clients to secure sales. Close deals effectively and follow up to ensure successful implementation. - Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions. Provide regular reports to management on sales progress and market feedback. - Product Knowledge:
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products or services. Stay updated on product developments and advancements.
- Proven experience in outdoor sales or a related field. Experience in a specific industry, if applicable, is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not always required.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self‑motivated and results oriented.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle objections.
- Can negotiate and communicate effectively.
