Job SummaryThe Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales of new and pre‑owned vehicles by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role requires strong product knowledge, customer relationship skills, and the ability to deliver a premium buying experience that aligns with dealership and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Achieve monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
- Prospect new clients through referrals, cold calls, and showroom walk‑ins.
- Actively participate in sales events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Conduct professional consultations to identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the buying journey.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all vehicle models, features, specifications, and finance options.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives to showcase performance and features.
- Stay updated on competitor products and market trends.
- Prepare quotations, sales contracts, and finance/insurance documentation.
- Ensure all transactions comply with dealership policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, and registration teams to finalize deals.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems for leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and pipeline status.
- Adhere to brand guidelines, ethical sales practices, and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4–6 years of sales experience (automotive industry experience preferred).
