Junior Sales Trader

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sales Trader to join our team. In this role, you will assist in executing client trades, providing market updates, and supporting the sales and trading team in managing retail client relationships. • Provide market color and insights to clients, including updates on sales, trading activity, research developments, and news flow
• Maintain close coordination with clients, traders, sales teams, and the research department to ensure seamless information flow and collaboration.
• Present investment ideas and relevant market opportunities to clients and facilitate order execution as required.
• Develop and onboard new client relationships, actively expanding the client base
• Increase the existing client business flow
• Participate in the morning meetings
• Provide manual dealing support to other traders, when need be
• Thorough understanding of equities sales and trading business in the UAE/GCC region.
• Strong work ethic and sense of ownership for assigned tasks.
• Positive attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm for financial markets.
• Proactive personality with the ability to work independently when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
• 2–3 years of experience, ideally in equity sales/trading with a brokerage firm in the region.
• Strong knowledge of UAE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (CISI, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of working in a client-facing trading or sales role.
• Advanced MS Excel and Refinitiv Eikon skills preferred.
