Overview

A well-established restaurant specializing in authentic Anatolian cuisine is seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef – Bakery to join its culinary team in Abu Dhabi. This onsite role supports the bakery and pastry section in producing high-quality baked goods, ensuring guests consistently enjoy fresh and expertly prepared products.

• Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods in line with established recipes and techniques.
• Support senior chefs with baking tasks including mixing, rolling, shaping dough, and monitoring baking times and temperatures.
• Ensure proper organization, labeling, and storage of ingredients while maintaining food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the workstation according to kitchen regulations.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure efficient service during high-volume periods.

• Must-Have Requirements:
  Previous bakery experience or relevant culinary training.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and bakery ingredients.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good time management, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience handling various doughs and bakery preparations.
• Knowledge of ingredient rotation, labeling, and storage best practices.
• Ability to contribute positively during busy service periods.

• Salary: AED 3,200 – 3,500 per month
