Waiter​/Waitress - Lebanese Terrace

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our Lebanese Terrace team. We welcome individuals who thrive in a team environment, demonstrate integrity and respect, and embrace a growth mindset.

Based at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Food & Beverage Department, the Waiter/Waitress is responsible for ensuring that guests are served food and beverage according to the standards of the hotel. The role reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager.

• Set up stations and tables according to established standards.
• Greet guests in line with the hotel’s service standards.
• Communicate with guests following the hotel’s standards.
• Assist the captain in presenting the menu, making recommendations, and taking orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly.
• Follow up on billing and checking procedures.
• Keep the buffet clean and free of debris.
• Assist with the clearing of tables and stations.
• Supervise the return of dirty linen.
• Assist the kitchen in clearing the buffet.
• Be present in the restaurant during service hours.
• Inform the captain of all guest comments and complaints.
• Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required.
• Maintain a neat uniform and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor or manager.

• Previous experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel is required; resort experience is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is preferred.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to stand for prolonged periods.
