Job SummaryThe Barista is responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee and beverages for customers and guests visiting the showroom or service center, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment that enhances the overall customer experience.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES1. Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages (e.g., espresso, cappuccino, latte).
- Operate coffee machines and equipment following brand standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and speed of service.
- Greet customers and offer refreshments in a courteous manner.
- Ensure VIP and regular guests receive prompt and attentive service while waiting in lounge areas.
- Assist with light hospitality duties to support the showroom environment.
- Monitor stock of coffee, tea, water, condiments, and related supplies.
- Refill and clean coffee machines and service stations regularly.
- Notify supervisors when items need restocking.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee area, lounge tables, and serving tools.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Assist in serving refreshments during special events, product launches, or client meetings.
To be a successful Barista, you should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare high‑quality beverages in a fast‑paced environment.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
Qualifications, Certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)- Skilled with 4–6 years of barista or food & beverage experience (preferably in hospitality or customer service roles)
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and barista tools
- Pleasant personality with strong customer service skills
- Basic communication skills in English (Arabic or other languages a plus)
- Coffee machine operation
- Beverage preparation (espresso-based drinks)
- Hygiene and safety practices
- Basic inventory handling
- Customer interaction etiquette
- Integrity & Safety – Demonstrates honesty, complies with safety rules and regulations, and respects organizational policies
- Job Knowledge – Understands the job duties and tools used in their work
- Work Quality – Produces neat, accurate, and complete work
- Productivity – Completes work on time, puts in effort, and meets daily targets
