Job Description

Responsible for ensuring Quality Control (QC) activities are carried out as per company standards and other regulatory bodies requirements by providing assistance to the Operations teams in terms of operational requirements and (Driver/vehicle) adherence in accordance to RTA & company requirements.

Operational
  • Ensure the implementation of guidelines mandated by Transport Authority and activities of Quality are in line with overall organizational objectives.
  • Conduct Daily Quality checks/ inspections and its reporting.
  • Report Daily on the identified errors and areas of concerns to the respective departments (Operations / Fleet).
  • Conduct regular site inspections to checking the operational efficiency of Drivers & vehicles in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist Drivers on site with any issues (Vehicle breakdown / Customer complaints) and guide them appropriately.
  • Provide site assistance and inspections based on the requirements set by the Transport Authority.
  • Conduct frequent spot checks and field trips to be carried out to ensure driver - vehicle adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Fulfil any new project (e.g.: Expo
    2020) requirements set by the Transport Authority.
  • Develop relationships with Transport Authority Quality Control Inspectors and organize frequent inspections including the handling of unplanned inspections.
  • Cooperate within the business to ensure that Quality standards are maintained.
People Management

Product/Process Improvement
  • Appropriate corrective actions implementation for all the incidents investigations carried out in coordination with QHSE team.
  • Preparation of quality control reports and reporting of the same as per set standard requirements.
  • Identify and report drivers not meeting quality and performance standards for further disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure that a positive Quality culture is promoted within all stakeholders - among peers, employees, visitors, subcontractors, regulatory bodies and customers.
Education & Certifications
  • High School Certification / Diploma.
  • Knowledge about Quality aspects as per the industry standards.
  • LMV Driving License.
Knowledge & Skill
  • Good communication skills.
  • Quick learner and ability to adapt to the organizational working culture.
  • Competent IT skills (MS Office, DAX, RTA Portals etc.).
Experience
  • A minimum of 1-3years of relevant experience.
